An open-source series by Valery Melou

Twelve motifs.
One cloth.

Twelve landing pages for fictional brands, each with its own type, color, texture and motion. One component library runs under all of them: Ndop UI, built with Angular.

Ndop is a cloth from the Grassfields of Cameroon, dyed indigo around stitched geometric motifs. Ndop UI is named after it. This series borrows its motifs.

01 / One library, twelve identities

Same card. Same markup.
Twelve voices.

Every page restyles the same Ndop UI components through its own theme and its own copies of them. Nothing else changes hands: no other UI library, no page builder.

Scroll to pass the card from page to page, or pick one.

03 / How it is made

Built to be read,
then taken apart.

  1. 01

    Ndop UI, and nothing else

Every interactive piece comes from Ndop UI. When a page needs something Ndop lacks, it is built small, in the page, and written up for Ndop.

  2. 02

    Each page owns its components

Components are copied into each app and restyled there, through tokens first. Pages share only motion helpers, the footer and this list.

  3. 03

    Open, and honest about how
